The Lucid Gravity SUV, the newest model from U.S. electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid, recently set a Guinness World Record using its vehicle-to-load (V2L) feature, becoming the first electric vehicle to support the "most people in an online DJ mixing video relay." During the event, 61 DJs each performed for eight minutes, completing over eight hours of continuous mixing, with all equipment powered exclusively by a single Lucid Gravity SUV. The achievement demonstrates the potential of electric vehicles in unconventional applications.

Gravity SUV Features Three Household Outlets with a Combined 1.8 kW Output
The Lucid Gravity SUV’s V2L function provides power through three standard household outlets, delivering a combined output of 1.8 kilowatts (kW). This capacity is sufficient to support audio equipment, laptops, lighting, and even small household appliances. The feature addresses the absence of V2L in Lucid’s first model, the Air sedan, further enhancing the practicality of electric vehicles.
Lucid collaborated with Saudi Arabian electronic music collective Dish Dash to organize the event, connecting 61 DJs from around the world via an online platform to complete an eight-hour mixing relay. Each DJ operated the equipment during their assigned time slot, with the entire session powered by the Gravity SUV. Lucid emphasized that the V2L feature extends beyond special events, offering utility in everyday scenarios such as outdoor camping, emergency rescue, or temporary workspaces.

The Ford F-150 Lightning’s Pro Power OnBoard system can deliver up to 9.6 kW of power through multiple 120-volt and 240-volt outlets, sufficient to meet the daily electricity needs of an average household. The system has played a critical role in numerous natural disasters, such as hurricanes and wildfires, where owners have used the F-150 Lightning to power refrigerators, medical equipment, and communication devices during outages, making it a vital tool for disaster response.
