NT$6.6 Billion Syndicated Loan Sets New Benchmark for Green Energy Sector
Star Bright Holdings' subsidiary, Star Bright Energy, finalized a NT$6.6 billion syndicated loan agreement on July 24. The banking consortium, led by Taishin Bank, subscribed to a total of NT$12 billion, resulting in an oversubscription rate of 182%. The financing attracted participation from several major financial institutions, including First Bank, E.SUN Bank, Hua Nan Bank, Land Bank, and Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank, making it one of the largest syndicated loans in Taiwan's green energy sector in recent years.
Taishin Bank stated that the oversubscription demonstrates the financial market's recognition of Star Bright Holdings' operational strength, financial stability, and future growth potential. It also reflects the growing importance of energy transition as a key investment focus for the financial industry. The enthusiastic participation of the banking consortium underscores market confidence in Star Bright Energy's long-term vision.
