Andrew Ryan, President of LiuGong North America, stated that LiuGong has accumulated over 15 years of experience in developing electric heavy machinery, with more than 60,000 electric machines deployed globally, logging millions of commercial operating hours. Ryan emphasized, "LiuGong’s battery-electric platform has been long validated in global markets, so customers don’t have to choose between proven performance and zero-emission technology." He further noted that these electric machines are engineered specifically for the North American market, meeting local operational requirements and regulatory standards.
According to data provided by LiuGong, electric machinery can reduce operating costs by 40% to 50% compared to traditional diesel-powered equipment. The cost reduction stems from three key areas: lower fuel expenses, reduced maintenance needs, and decreased frequency of parts replacement. LiuGong also offers a 5-year or 10,000-hour warranty for battery packs and electric motors on its electric construction equipment, significantly exceeding the industry average of 3 years or 5,000 hours. To demonstrate product durability, LiuGong showcased an 856HE Battery-Electric Wheel Loader that has operated for over 19,900 hours in a U.S. phosphate mining operation, maintaining stable performance in a highly corrosive environment and proving the reliability of its battery technology.
