Revenue and Profit Surge as Pingtung and Tainan Projects Contribute 70% of First-Half Revenue

Solar and energy storage system integrator Juheng released its financial results for the first half of 2026, reporting consolidated revenue of NT$967 million, a 178.53% year-on-year increase. Net profit after tax reached NT$80 million, up 789.07% from the same period last year, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$1.16, reflecting a 728.57% increase. First-half revenue accounted for nearly 80% of the company’s total revenue for 2025, while second-quarter revenue hit NT$724 million, nearly tripling from the previous quarter, signaling a peak in revenue recognition for major projects.

Juheng stated that the first-half revenue was primarily driven by key projects, including the Pingtung floating solar farm and the Tainan Xuejia District substation. The Pingtung project has reached 90% completion, while the Tainan Xuejia substation and other projects are 25% complete, collectively contributing nearly 70% of the first-half revenue. In energy storage, the Nantou and Taoyuan E-dReg front-of-meter energy storage projects have been fully completed and are expected to pass final inspections by the end of August, with related payments to be recognized subsequently. The overseas Palau project is 95% complete and also slated for final inspection by the end of August.

Operations and maintenance (O&M) revenue grew in tandem, surpassing NT$10 million in the first half, as earlier EPC projects transitioned from free warranty periods to paid O&M services. Juheng currently operates nearly 200 solar power plants with a total capacity of 270MW and manages over five energy storage projects exceeding 12MW in capacity. Notably, the first phase of the Qigu Zhiguang Fishery-Solar Symbiosis project achieved an average power generation performance rate of over 120% in the first half, demonstrating exceptional operational efficiency.

New Building Solar Regulations to Expand Market Demand

The Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Economic Affairs implemented the "Standards for Installing Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation Equipment on Buildings" on August 1, requiring new, expanded, or renovated buildings with a floor area of 1,000 square meters or more to install solar power equipment at a rate of 1 kilowatt per 20 square meters of rooftop space. Officials estimate the policy will add approximately 660,000 kilowatts (660MW) of installed capacity annually, creating long-term demand for rooftop solar EPC markets.

Juheng Chairman Zhou Henghao noted that the new regulations will expand the rooftop solar EPC market and drive demand for O&M services over the next 20 years. As Taiwan’s first and Asia’s second company to obtain TÜV Rheinland’s O&M certification, Juheng offers remote monitoring, regular inspections, equipment upgrades, and anomaly resolution. The company integrates solar, energy storage, and power consumption monitoring through its proprietary "H-ELink Energy Network" energy management system, providing a one-stop solution.

As early projects like the Xuejia Xinzong case transition to paid O&M services starting in 2026, Juheng’s total operational capacity is projected to exceed 400MW by 2030, shifting its business model from one-time engineering revenue to a long-term cash-flow energy integration service provider.

NT$50 Billion in Orders to Sustain Revenue Momentum Through 2027

Looking ahead, Juheng has secured three major projects totaling over NT$50 billion, with revenue expected to be recognized from the fourth quarter of 2026 through 2027. These projects, including key initiatives in Yunlin and Tainan, will provide stable momentum for the company’s operations. Zhou emphasized that with policy support and expanding market demand, Juheng will continue to deepen its energy integration services and solidify its leading position in the solar and energy storage sectors.
